Once you’ve put horse shoes on does it not affect growth of the hoof. As in the hoof will want to still grow like human nails. Having shoe on would make it restrictive

I would have farrier out to my horse every 5-6weeks and spends loads of money on hoof dressing to keep them in good condition plus good feeding and supplements to keep them healthy

This horses hoof is horrible,so hard and brittle needs a lot more care given some good hoof dressing would help

I don’t understand how hooves can be this neglected, my childhood horse never saw a farrier or shoe a day in her life. Our pasture naturally kept her hooves in shape 😅
